BA-M 802B: Literature and Theory Review for DBA Project – II

Overview

(BA-M802A – continued) In this mentoring session students will immerse themselves in conducting the first phase of the literature review for the DBA Project and producing the first draft of the review. Emphasizing the peer-to-peer mentoring model, each student will be engaged in leading a weekly graduate seminar discussion, team work with other members of the cohort, as well as projects that involve the entire cohort.  The faculty mentor will provide guidance and feedback to all students.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • The ability to scan the literature efficiently, using computerized methods, to identify a set of useful articles and books.
  • The ability to apply principles of analysis to identify unbiased and valid studies.
  • Ability to use data evaluation and data analysis for research interpretations.
  • Evaluate the viability of their research question based upon the review of literature.
