MBA 620: Auditing I

Overview

This course systematically approaches the audit process introducing the concepts of audit risk, materiality, and evidence. The concepts are applied to selected audit and assurance services and processes. The risk assessment process proposed by the Auditing Standards Board and adopted by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board is incorporated in the course. Application of auditor judgment and learning are focused on engaging, real-world examples, illustrations, and analogies.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
